In his Stone Age dream, Benjamin the elephant saves the baby mammoth from the cave master's soup pot, meets a nice dinosaur and invents the wheel along the way. As soon as he wakes up from his dream, he meets Bibi Blocksberg and just doesn't want to believe that she is a little witch. Flying is the greatest thing for Benjamin. When Karla Kolumna's newspaper organizes a balloon flying competition, Benjamin of course has to take part and competes with his friend Otto against the imaginary Baron Zwiebelschreck.
